How we evaluate AI tools

Last updated October 31, 2026

  1. Hospitality fit: the product must be built for, or clearly used by, hotels or restaurants.
  2. Verified from the source: every description is checked against the vendor's own website, and each profile shows a "last verified" date. We don't publish prices, ROI claims or customer counts we can't verify.
  3. Sorted by job: tools are grouped by the job they do (guest messaging, reviews, revenue, ops, housekeeping, F&B/food cost, reporting, hiring), not by vendor marketing categories.
  4. Rollout over hype: each job comes with a vendor-neutral rollout playbook, because adoption, not features, decides whether AI pays off.
  5. Link health: every vendor link is checked automatically each week; broken or moved links are fixed or removed.
  6. Independence: listing order is alphabetical within filters. Paid "Featured" placements, when offered, are always labeled and never change editorial content. See our disclosure policy.
