Published October 29, 2026 · OpsRecipes are tested patterns, not vendor endorsements.

Outcome: Every Monday, leadership gets the top 3 rising complaint and praise themes with example quotes, instead of a pile of raw reviews.

What you need

  • Review or survey export (CSV) in Google Sheets, or your reputation tool's scheduled export
  • n8n (cloud or self-hosted)
  • An LLM node (e.g., OpenAI or Anthropic credentials)
  • Email or Slack/Teams

Steps

  1. Schedule Trigger: every Monday 6:00 AM.
  2. Google Sheets node: read last 7 days of reviews (date, source, rating, text).
  3. LLM node: for each review return JSON {theme, sentiment, quote} using a fixed list of 10 themes.
  4. Code node: count themes this week vs. last week's counts (stored in a second sheet tab).
  5. LLM node: write a 150-word brief: top 3 rising themes, one quote each, one suggested owner per theme.
  6. Email/Slack node: send to the GM and department heads; append counts to the history tab.
Watch out: Keep the theme list fixed so trends are comparable; remove guest names before sending text to an LLM.

Check your company's data and AI policies before sending guest or vendor data to any third-party tool.
